Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Part Time Supported Housing Officer to join one of Adecco's most improved housing clients in a temporary assignment, initially for 1-2 months, suitable for an immediately available candidate.
Based in North London, this role is for 26 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and reports to the Housing Manager daily within the Tenancy Services department. Previous experience working with vulnerable clients, especially the elderly, is highly desirable.
Key duties include:
* Assessing referred residents and liaising with referral agencies as needed.
* Coordinating viewings and lettings in Older Adults Schemes to minimize void loss.
* Ensuring properties meet health and safety standards before letting and completing post-let works.
* Assisting residents with move-in processes, tenancy sign-ups, housing and wellbeing plans, and introductions to their new homes and neighbors.
* Supporting residents in maximizing income and benefits entitlement, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit applications.
* Working with residents to meet objectives in their housing and wellbeing plans, reviewing as necessary.
* Maintaining relationships with relevant agencies and referring residents appropriately.
* Ensuring the security, health, and safety of residents and their homes.
* Collaborating with repairs and neighborhood teams for property maintenance.
* Supporting in-house Tenancy Officers in managing tenancy breaches.
* Promoting resident engagement through meetings and events.
