We are a friendly and progressive first opinion small animal practice in Wiltshire, currently looking for a part time (20hrs/week) Practice Administrator to join our team of 20 on a 12-month maternity contract. This role is currently being performed remotely so a hybrid role would be considered for the right candidate, with hours spread over 5 days per week and no weekend work required. The role would be suitable for someone with administrative or client care experience within the veterinary industry, salary negotiable dependent on experience. Main Purpose of the Job Assist the clinical team with the day-to-day workflow of the practice, taking ownership of certain key aspects of day-to-day administration critical to practice function. To act as a first point of contact for certain administrative duties including debt, new client registrations, and health plans.,
* Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner using the in-practice database system, being sensitive to client needs and promoting a professional image at all times.
* Respond to client enquiries and provide information by answering questions and requests.
* Maintain current product and service knowledge (and that relating to offers and consumables within the practice) and be able to advise where necessary.
* Chase insurances, debtors, direct credits, charity accounts and client invoices.
* Promote new offers and products to clients.
* Help problem solve where appropriate and resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analysing data, and identifying solutions.
