About the job We have an exciting role at Coastline as a Governance Assistant. We are looking for someone who is professional and reliable, and has excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will be a proactive self-starter with the ability to manage your work within a highly flexible environment. This role will encompass the provision of administrative support to our Company Secretary and Head of Governance, Risk and Assurance across a comprehensive range of governance activities including Board and Committee reporting, maintenance of Registers and our complaints process and other tasks. Key Requirements • High attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Minuting and Board Pack Compilation (advantageous but not essential) • Report Writing • You will provide fundamental support to our complaints process, ensuring compliance with the relevant policy and best practice • You will be responsible for keeping the maintenance of the Company and Governance Registers (statutory and non-statutory), preparing documentation for submission to regulatory bodies, and helping facilitate corporate governance processes, including board and committee meetings. • You will also provide corporate governance and Company Secretarial support in respect of legal transactions • You should possess excellent customer care skills and the ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers alike.
