We are a charity that provides support to those living with young onset dementia in Berkshire, Surrey Heath, NE Hampshire, Farnham and Woking. Services we provide are age-appropriate and meaningful activity workshops, 1:1 activity support, education courses and support groups. Young onset dementia affects adults under the age of 65. Nationally there are estimated to be 70.800 people living with young onset dementia, with an estimated 900 in Surrey and 679 in Berkshire. Within this role you will support us in the delivery of our services, with a focus on the provision of workshops and 1:1 activity support (no personal care is required within this role). Examples of workshops delivered within the community are katakanuing, singing, walking, reader groups and art. You will work as part of a team delivering our goal to "think differently about dementia".
