Job Title: Intern-International Project Support (IPS) – Business Development
Department/Location: Business Development/Vienna, VA
Reports To: Business Development Management

Overview: International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) is seeking an Intern IPS, Business Development with experience to work in our Vienna, VA home office. This part-time position would be available to start as soon as possible. IBTCI seeks a skilled professional who has previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the BD team including transcribing meeting notes and formatting documents.
* Assist with recruitment efforts including sourcing candidates for proposals, formatting CVs, and creating personnel bios, matrices, etc.
* Provide proposal support including requests for information, project research, etc.
* Assist with BD Trackers.
* Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files.
* Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* At least 6 months of work experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment.
* Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite.
* Strong working knowledge of Google Drive.
* Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
* Excellent writing, research and organizational ability.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Oral and written fluency in English required, fluency in another language preferred.
Education: At least 2 years of college education in International Affairs, Economics, Business, English or other related area.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Previous experience with USAID, USDoS, and/ or MCC preferred.
* Knowledge in one or more of IBTCI’s service areas.
* Working level proficiency in Spanish, French or Arabic.
Working Environment: Work is performed in a typical corporate office environment.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: No travel is required.
Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Pay Transparency Statement: We are dedicated to ensuring a thoughtful, compliant, and equitable approach to employment compensation. The anticipated pay range for this position is 16 USD to 18 USD per hour.
