Job Description:
Oxford Martin School, 34 Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3BD The Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Development is looking for a predoctoral Research Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating more and better economic opportunities in a changing world by conducting rigorous research, creating evidence-based solutions and tools for decision makers, providing platforms for new ideas, and sharing insights through events and publications. Our work focuses on low- and middle-income countries and works towards more equitable and well-functioning labour markets, fostering entrepreneurship and technology for small and medium-sized enterprises, and building human capital for a just green energy transition. This is a great role for an early-career researcher looking to gain hands-on research experience in applied microeconomics, development economics, and labour economics. Most of our work is experimental and involves primary data collection in low- and middle-income countries. As a predoctoral researcher on the programme, the post holder will be expected to work closely with other researchers to collaborate on new and ongoing research projects of the programme. The post is full time, 1-year fixed term. The Oxford Martin School supports the University’s commitment to fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality and values diversity. We are eager to receive applications from a diverse pool of candidates.
