The successful candidate must cover General Practice HCA duties delivering the highest level of care and assistance. Duties will include, but are not limited to; Phlebotomy, Assisting with long term conditions clinics such as diabetes, asthma, COPD.NHS Health Checks, Wound Management, Flu and Pneumonia vaccinations, Smoking Cessation, ECGs, BP checks,B12 injections, Suture and clip removal, Ordering nursing stock and equipment, Precise and accurate recording on patient records, You will work alongside the existing nursing team to ensure: Stock levels are maintained by ordering, rotation and sorting deliveries. Identifying the best places to purchase stocks and dealing with suppliers. Completion of cleanliness, infection prevention control measures and health and safety requirement of the role. Doctors are supported in their clinics. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all patients. This list is not exhaustive. Desirable experience: Care Certificate Medical administration (1 year) NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) EMIS knowledge
