Salary: 28k - 32k
Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: Office based - Maidenhead
Please note: The office is difficult to access via public transport; having your own vehicle would be highly advantageous.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Being the first contact to support drivers with technical and breakdown issues.
2. A methodical approach, combined with a keen eye for detail, to arrange timely safety inspections and MOT bookings, which observe the conditions of our Operator Licence.
3. Computer literacy in the comprehensive use of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
4. Data input on the internal fleet management software, for which training will be given.
5. Cost control and authorisation of vehicle repairs not covered within our servicing contracts.
6. Ad hoc duties within the Transport team.
Desirable:
1. Attention to detail - compliance or experience with legislation or important data.
2. Previous experience in a busy Logistics, Transport or Fleet Management.
3. Experience in scheduling materials.
4. Good geographic knowledge or scheduling/route planning experience.
5. Ability to manage your own time and to use your initiative.
6. Flexible nature and strong work ethic.
