Role Overview
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of this schools young learners. You will be responsible for creating engaging and effective lesson plans, delivering high-quality teaching, and ensuring that all children reach their full potential in a nurturing environment. You will work closely with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
Monitor and track students' progress, adapting teaching strategies to suit individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Maintain high standards of classroom management.
Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
A valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Proven experience of teaching Key Stage 1 (1-2 years or more preferred).
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
Commitment to the development and wellbeing of children.
Desirable
Additional training or qualifications in special educational needs (SEN).
Experience working in a diverse, multicultural school.
