Family Law Department Background:
The Legal 500 praises our Family legal team as “superbly reliable” and “professional, personable, and very efficient.” The department is ranked and recommended for family and matrimonial work, providing confidential advice and effective representation. Our team includes solicitors with Law Society’s Children Law and Family Law Advanced accreditations.
Main Responsibilities of the Role
* Responsible for all aspects of Family Law work, providing technical expertise and guidance to team members.
* Manage and supervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers.
* Assist with training and development in the department.
* Handle a variety of Family Law duties including divorce, financial disputes, child abduction, and injunctions.
* Maintain a proactive approach with strong client care skills and interest in Business Development and Marketing.
Key Skills Required:
* Clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of application.
* Committed team player with ability to foster a culture of positive change.
* Proactive and professional with excellent client care skills.
* Strong networking and communication skills for marketing and business generation.
* Working knowledge of publicly funded Family Law and ability to service privately funded cases.
* Extensive experience in Family Law with expertise in adoption matters.
* Advocacy experience is an advantage.
* Excellent IT skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

Law Society Children/Family Accreditation/Resolution:
The Company will support your career progression if you pursue Children, Family or Family Advanced Panel accreditation with the Law Society or Resolution. We will cover the cost of:
* Mandatory training course (£1100 Children Law Accreditation).
* Children Law Reaccreditation every 3 years (approx. £618).
* Family Law Reaccreditation every 5 years (approx. £556).
Total cost for Children panel progression is approximately £1700.
Children/Family Law Accreditation Salary:
We are looking to offer new Children, Family, Family Advanced and Resolution Panel members a base salary of:
* £48,000 in London and within the M25.
This salary applies from the date you are registered as a panel member/accredited with the Law Society.
