We are currently looking for a SAB & Highway Administration Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for being part of a professional team of engineers, transport planners and drainage experts, and undertaking administrative and organisational duties for the SAB & Highway Development Control section.
The main duties of the post:
* To undertake administrative and organisational duties for the SAB & Highway Development Control Section.
* To be able to measure detailed construction engineering layouts and plans.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Have knowledge or experience of working within an Engineering, Drainage, Transport or Planning environment.
* Be able to take notes or minutes of meetings.
* Have an understanding of how to process statistical data and Key Performance indicators.
You will have experience in/of:
Organisational and Administrative skills relating to highway engineering, transport planning or Drainage environment.
Ideally you will have:
NVQ level 3 in business and administration or relevant experience of SAB & Highways Development Control, and SuDS Approval Body (SAB), and associated enforcement & appeals experience.
Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline is desirable.
