Job Title: Apprentice Administrator
Summary of Role
Working in the regional Manchester office you will play a pivotal role in supporting the administration function of the Small Works Team. The role will cover various administrative tasks covering invoicing, data entry, correspondence and reporting.
What you will be doing:
* Setting up of new jobs on internal systems, processing approvals, correspondence with clients and engineers and relevant admin associated tasks.
* Creating subcontract orders, issuing and managing/escalating any queries.
* Maintaining internal registers/databases.
* Monitoring team email boxes and dealing with queries.
* Processing stationary orders/hotel bookings.
* Raising invoices and processing necessary actions through to payment.
* Organising IT access/equipment/systems accesses for new starters.
* Dealing with general office/building related queries.
* Any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience (all essential):
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. This must include English and Maths.
* Enthusiastic and passionate about developing a career in administration.
* Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy skills.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Organised and with good time management skills. Able to meet deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Good level of attendance and self-discipline.

About the apprenticeship
You will study towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship which will be completed over 12 to 18 months. The course will be delivered via an online course provider so you will not attend a college in person.
When not studying, you will work alongside our experienced team delivering a real administrative role delivering essential support to our Manchester Team! You will need to manage your time and commitments well to ensure that you are able to complete your assignments whilst delivering a highly valued role.
Note: You may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level.
