The Inclusive Learning programme offers choices for students with learning difficulties and disabilities to develop independent living and work skills in a friendly, supportive, and fun learning environment.We are seeking an experienced teacher to oversee our Entry level Vocational pathway programmes. These programmes are designed as a carousel style course offering the opportunity to sample a range of subject areas, this will lead to either a specialised course in one of the areas, or onto our transition to mainstream programme, New Horizons. Areas covered by the Vocational Pathways courses are retail, catering, animal care, art, digital technologies and helping services. As the Course Team Leader you will oversee the curriculum design and implementation of the courses and teach on the courses alongside other specialist teachers so experience in all these areas is not essential, but some knowledge of the different areas is advantageous and would support with the role. You will have access to our specialist spaces for the delivery of these courses. Students within Inclusive Learning can expect to experience learning in the classroom, out in the community and in our horticultural centre, with the opportunity to look after animals and run independent projects. You will be joining a team dedicated to delivering the best possible learning environment for each individual student.
