Job Title: Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher

About the Role:
Academic Appointments are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team in a primary school in BD14. This is a full-time position, starting in January 2025 and continuing until the end of the school year in December 2025. As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum to help students thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student engagement and progress
Assess, track, and record student progress, adapting teaching methods to support individual learning needs
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to provide regular updates on student progress
Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
Uphold school policies and foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience among students
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Proven experience teaching in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2
Ability to engage and inspire students, with a focus on promoting growth and learning for all abilities
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and productive learning environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
