An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Adviser to take on a 7-month temporary contract with a leading energy company.
This role centres on delivering accurate and timely cost reporting, providing precise and reliable information to support planning processes, and supplying detailed and accurate data to support joint venture closures and partner requirements.
The Role:
As a Financial Adviser, responsibilities include:
* Acting as the primary finance focal point for a designated business area.
* Delivering accurate and timely cost reporting, monthly reviews, and management presentations.
* Supporting detailed budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and process enhancements.
* Collaborating with joint venture partners to ensure compliance with agreements and financial reporting requirements.
* Consolidating and reporting financial data across multiple business functions.
* Assisting with audits, regulatory submissions, and benchmarking activities.
About You:
Ideal candidates will have:
* A degree and professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in management reporting and financial modelling within the upstream oil and gas industry.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SAP/SunSystems and advanced Microsoft Office.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
