Job Title: Quality Inspector
Site location: Broughton, Flintshire
Responsible to: Production Manager
Responsible for: Multiple aspects of the production process

KEY INFORMATION
Reason for vacancy: Increased demand
Basic pay: £13.36ph
Shifts: Monday to Thursday 7.45am-4.15pm & Fridays 7.45am-12.45pm. OCCASIONAL requirements for Twilight shift cover also with increased rate - £14.74ph (1.30pm-8.30pm) & £16.65ph (8.30pm-9.30pm).
Breaks: 30 min lunch (unpaid), early and late 10-minute break (x2 both paid)
Overtime: Mon-Sat 1.5x basic rate, Sunday x2 basic rate (all overtime is optional)
Holidays: Accrual (21 days + BH once permanent)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role:
Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their busy team in Broughton, Flintshire. As a Quality Inspector your responsibilities are as follows:
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Inspecting and handling large and small detailed alloy aircraft and automotive components
2. Reporting non-conformities
3. Inspecting wet and dry decontaminated parts
4. Completing shot sampling analysis for all machines using sieves and shot shaker machine
5. Ensuring all inspections are recorded to company procedures in line with customer requirements
6. Identifying parts by their tag’s engravings etc.
7. When parts are processed, verify all operations have been completed and attached correct certification
8. Liaise with delivery drivers
You will be required to maintain and complete accurate documents and records in accordance with company procedures.

1. Excellent attention to detail in completing work tasks and identifying defects
2. Good computer skills
3. Reliable, responsible and dependable fulfilling obligations
4. Job requires maintaining composure even in difficult situations and work well under pressure
5. Competent using all inspecting equipment i.e 10x magnifiers, UV torch, Calipers, DTI Almen gauges and calibration equipment
6. Must be flexible
