Duties:
* Provide person-centered care and support to clients with their daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
* Assist clients in maintaining their daily routines and promote their independence according to their individual care plans.
* Build positive and effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care using IT systems.
* Work collaboratively with the care coordination team to ensure seamless and comprehensive care delivery.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies while providing care.
* Must reside in or be willing to work in the Brighton and Worthing area.
* A valid UK driving license and access to your own car are essential for commuting to clients’ homes.
* Willingness to work in domiciliary care initially with a strong interest in potentially transitioning to live-in care roles.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and a strong sense of empathy.
* Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
* Must have a clean Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate or be willing to obtain one.
We are unable to offer initial visa sponsorship for applicants from outside the UK. However, we may be able to consider applications from individuals who are already in the UK with a valid visa that allows them to switch to a Health and Care Worker visa.
Experience:
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with creating and following care plans is an advantage.
* Female carers preferred.
