At Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 babies, children, and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, alongside supporting their families and carers across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families.
About the Role
As a Shop Manager, you’ll take the lead in managing our Long Eaton shop, where every day is different. You’ll:
1. Sort, process, display, and sell donated items, along with Rainbows merchandise.
2. Develop creative ideas to generate donated goods and increase income.
3. Lead, motivate, and grow a team of volunteers.
4. Take ownership of meeting financial targets and delivering excellent customer service.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
1. Retail or customer service experience.
2. Excellent management and customer service skills.
3. The ability to recruit, train, and motivate volunteers.
4. A proven ability to work towards financial targets and manage budgets.
