Job Description
* Oversee the production of monthly and annual financial reports.
* Supervise a small team of accounting professionals.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Participate in the annual budgeting process.
* Engage in ongoing financial risk management.
* Collaborate with external auditors as required.
* Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
* Provide financial advice to the organisation's leadership team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
* Professional accountancy qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
* Proven experience in a financial management role within a not-for-profit organisation.
* Expertise in financial reporting and risk management.
* Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
