Key Responsibilities:
* Pioneer Tailored APQP: Craft and execute a bespoke APQP framework that aligns with our futuristic vision, ensuring our supply chain is robust, resilient, and ready for tomorrow’s challenges.
* Digital Quality: Support the adoption of digital tools and data analytics for quality management, ensuring a seamless transition to digital records and predictive quality strategies.
* Collaborative Quality Assurance: Foster strong partnerships with Integrated Project Teams to integrate quality standards throughout the supply chain and product lifecycle.
* Drive Transformative Quality: Lead a crusade for change, transforming supplier interactions from transactional to collaborative, fostering a culture where quality is the universal language.
* Audit with Agility: Conduct dynamic supplier audits with a keen eye for innovation, identifying opportunities for quantum leaps in quality and efficiency.

* Risk Management: Support the development of a robust Supply Chain Risk Management framework that identifies potential disruptions in our intricate supply chain and mitigates them with precision.
* Supplier Integration: Integrate suppliers into our product development life cycle, ensuring quality is embedded from the earliest design stages.
* Sustainability Advocate: Champion sustainability, ensuring suppliers meet our stringent environmental and social governance criteria.
* Technology Trailblazer: Leverage cutting-edge technology to explore the streamlining of supplier quality processes, from blockchain concepts for traceability to AI for defect detection.
* Cultural Conductor: Be the cultural conductor, ensuring that our diverse, international teams work in harmony towards a unified quality symphony.
* Educational Initiatives: Lead educational initiatives to elevate the quality knowledge base of our suppliers, turning them into proactive partners in our quality journey.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
* Familiarity with NATO quality assurance requirements, including AQAP 2110 for design, development, and production, and AQAP 2310 for aviation, space, and defence suppliers.
* Understanding and experience with AS9100 standard requirements for the aerospace industry.
* Capability to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with aerospace quality system requirements.
* Proficiency in conducting external audits to recognized international standards.
* Strong analytical skills to identify quality issues and implement effective solutions.
* Commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in all aspects of the job.
* Expertise in implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
* Proficiency in the use of fundamental quality tools and techniques, such as 8D, Cause-and-effect diagrams, Check sheets, Control charts, Histograms, Pareto charts, Scatter diagrams, and Stratification.
* Exceptional communication skills: Ability to convey complex quality concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
* Teamwork and collaboration: Working harmoniously with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
* Problem-solving abilities: Identifying issues promptly and developing innovative solutions to enhance quality standards.
* Empathy: Understanding the needs and challenges of colleagues and clients to foster a supportive work environment.
* Adaptability: Being flexible and responsive to the dynamic nature of quality standards and project requirements.
* Organisational skills: Managing tasks and documentation efficiently to maintain high-quality work within deadlines.
