CREATIVE ARTS CO-ORDINATOR
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic person to:
* Co-ordinate the development of the Lakeside Creative Arts Centre (LCAC) in which there is an atmosphere of welcome and belonging.
* Develop and be responsible for art-based programmes which address LCAC's objectives:
o to explore, encounter and celebrate faith and spirituality, and in which to confront many of the challenges which living today brings;
o to help people of all ages develop new creative skills; to learn, to change and to grow; to develop self-esteem and grow in confidence;
o to create a space where health and well-being can be addressed through nature and the arts.
* Develop creative partnerships with artists, art groups and organisations including schools and other churches in pursuit of the objectives.
A satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
Hours of work: 22 hours per week worked flexibly, which may include some evening and weekend working. Actual days, start and finish times will be variable in accordance with the needs of the Employer. The days of the week on which you may be required to work are Tuesday to Sunday. You will not be expected to work on more than four days in a calendar week.
Contract: Permanent
Rate of pay: £14.44 per hour, with enrolment in the Circuit's workplace pension scheme.
Location: Based at the Lakeside Creative Arts Centre, Newmillerdam, Barnsley Road, Wakefield, WF2 6QQ.
