Within the business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Working Groundworks Supervisor to join the team in Chelmsford This will be a home-based role, travelling across the UK - using our HO in Chelmsford as a base to complete your weekly rota and tasks. As such, it will require flexibility from you, for overnight stays throughout the working week. Please note that some of the work we do also requires us to work through the night, so you must be willing to work both day and night shifts. Benefits Pay: £20 - £21 per hour (ranging, depending on days/nights worked) Hours: 48 per week (minimum with days/nights generally being a max of 10 hrs) Vehicle: Company van provided along with fuel card Pension: Auto-enrolment with Penfold Pensions Hols: 20 days per year (plus BH) plus 1 extra day for the week of your birthday What do I need to do… As a Working Groundworks Supervisor, you are responsible for: Supervision of work on site, ensuring all processes are followed correctly. General construction work in line with client requirements, including paving, kerbing, installing bollards / machines / equipment, foundation work, drainage, finishing works, surfacing, concreting etc. Ensuring full compliance with company and on-site client health and safety policy and requirements. Delivering a high-quality work in line with company and client expectations. Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required Completing Completion reports after completion of works using our online admin system. Signing permits to work on site Managing health and safety on site to protect your team and the public. Experience Skills required: Minimum of 12 months experience of working in grounds maintenance supervisory role. Experience of using a range of power tools and equipment. CSCS Card. SSSTS Ability to work at heights. Full driving licence. This role will require working away from home on a planned basis.
