Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video/Live Events Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead the technical execution of live events, ensuring the highest quality in video production, LED wall management, and equipment operation. This role is hands-on and requires expertise in troubleshooting, setup, and operation of state-of-the-art video technology.
Key Responsibilities
* System Engineer / LED Screen installations / Media Servers / LED processing and playback operation for live events.
* Manage and program LED processors (e.g., Novastar, Brompton, Linsn ).
* Operate and troubleshoot video systems, including switchers, routers, and playback systems.
* Collaborate with other technical departments (audio, lighting, staging) to ensure seamless events.
* Maintain and repair video equipment as needed.
* Train and look after junior technicians.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in video and live event production.
* Expert knowledge of LED video walls and processing.
* Proficiency in video playback and switching systems (e.g., Barco E2, Resolume PPU Racks).
* Strong understanding of signal flow and troubleshooting.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred:
* LED Screen Experience
* Video processing / PPU Racks Experience.
* Experience with live streaming setups and virtual events.
* Driving License is essential.
