Job Description
* Managing all statutory financial responsibilities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Preparing and submitting accurate financial reports to regulatory authorities.
* Collaborating with internal teams to improve financial processes and systems.
* Providing expert advice on financial regulations and standards.
* Coordinating and managing audits as required.
* Supporting the Accounting & Finance Department in budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
* Contributing to the overall financial strategy of the company.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Statutory Accountant should have:
* Strong knowledge of both local and international accounting standards.
* Experience in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
* Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and databases.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
