The ideal candidate will demonstrate impeccable customer service and will have experience in the transport/logistics industry, specifically with tankers.

The Role
* Processing customer orders
* Deliver great customer service over the phone and in person
* Tracking and planning UK drivers and equipment ensuring optimal utilisation
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are fulfilled
* Communicate with customers and keep them informed of order status
* Oversee turnaround of vehicles and containers to maximise productivity
* Recharge any additional costs
* Arrange maintenance and cleaning of equipment and book repairs and servicing
* Active involvement in P&L and CPA
* Onboarding of new business
Requirements
* Experience in customer service
* Experience in transport/logistics, with knowledge of tanker planning
* Strong organisational skills, able to multitask and prioritise without compromising standards
* Attention to detail, able to deliver accuracy in data entry, documentation and record keeping
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
* Financial acumen
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Familiar with Transport Management systems and database software
* Knowledge of MS packages (Excel, Outlook etc)
* Reliable and resilient
* Adaptable - able to change priorities and work schedules to support the team in peak or periods of high demand
* Willing to switch between customer service and operational functions
