Job summary
The Administration team based at Coastal CMHT, Walker Close, Ipswich are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced Clinical Support Team Administrator to support the Coastal Older People's CMHT, the Coastal Community Learning Disability Team and the Coastal under 18 Youth Team and ADHD team. This post is currently a combination of working in the office and home working.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be required to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of the Trust patient record system would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. Diary management and minute taking skills will also be required.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team and help provide an efficient and professional service, responding to the administrative needs of the team to ensure that the requirements of the organisation are met.
Main duties of the job
Doctors and teams admin support - including dictation (audio typing), diary management and liaising with patients and their families/carers and other professionals. Arranging appointments for the doctors and team members, liaising with the team, patients, family members and carers, sending out appointment letters, making and receiving telephone calls.
Taking the minutes at weekly Team meetings and distributing and processing the minutes.
You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to show empathy and have the ability to confidently and sensitively communicate with individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.
Excellent typing skills and previous administration experience is essential.
You will be required to complete mandatory training and participate in appropriate training opportunities available.
You will be required to ensure confidential information is retained and stored in line with Trust policy in an effective manner.
