Our Staff come from a wide range of professional backgrounds, bringing expertise in different areas to support and strengthen the work of Charity. The Charity has four sites and regularly provides opportunities for Staff to meet, train and experience delivery at other Hubs. We provide a generous terms and conditions package and opportunities for further professional development and career progression within the Charity.
Journey was founded by parent Carers in 1983 and celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023. We were chosen by the House of Lords in 2021 as one of fifteen organisations nationally delivering best practice. We invest heavily in Staff training and development and terms and conditions of employment. The Charity holds Investors in People, Better Health at Work, Disability Confident Employer and Mindful Employer quality marks.
