Responsibilities:
As a Technical Sales Consultant for water services, you will follow sales processes to provide a smooth and efficient service to customers, whilst helping to grow the water hygiene business by maximising sales opportunities.
You will often be the first point of contact for new water hygiene business enquiries, so a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach is important.
In addition to handling new water hygiene business enquiries, you will proactively manage your time across various workstreams within the sales function. Tasks will include preparing and following up quotes through to completion, renewing service contracts, and providing technical support to the wider sales team. You will have excellent organisation and time management skills.
Job Specific Functions:
* Prepare, send, and follow up quotes relating to the companies water hygiene business, working towards monthly KPIs.
* Self-generate sales opportunities via a proactive approach in identifying and contacting prospective client
* Nurture excellent relationships with customers and colleagues
* Confidently handle inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers
* Proactively respond to new business enquiries
* Identify and maximise sales opportunities.
* Learn the key fundamentals of legionella control and the companies Air services
* Take proactive steps to enhance marketing efforts and achieve maximum results.
* Manage work and time effectively to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Upsell air services to current water clients
Profile:
You need to be:

* a very disciplined individual able to consistently work to a process, efficiently using IT systems to achieve above-average results.
* At least two years of sales experience in a water hygiene-related role
* Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts
* Excellent administration and organisational skills
* High-level IT skills in Microsoft Office 365
* Ability to show technical understanding of water hygiene legislation and guidance
