Teaching Assistants Required in Haywards Heath

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full Time
Salary: 18,000 - 23,000

We are working with this Special School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is a specialist school providing education for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and they are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
* Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
* Supervise students during breaks and assist with extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
* A passion for working with children and young people.
* Experience in a school or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are an advantage.
