Electrical Design Engineer (Control Systems)
Location: Corby (NN16)
Commutable from Kettering, Peterborough, Wellingborough, Leicester
Salary: GBP55,000-GBP57,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (site visits included)

Our client is a leading provider of design and build services for control panels. Working in a variety of manufacturing and process environments, this role combines electrical design with controls and automation tasks.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Using CAD to create Electrical schematics such as loop diagrams, drawing PLC wiring diagrams and panel layouts
2. Upgrading existing controls schemes
3. Parts lists and BOMs based on the schematics
4. Creating LV Distribution and cable calculations
5. Machine safety circuit design to ISO 13849/60261 (manufacturing and machinery standards)
6. Creating Technical documentation
7. Assisting the on-site Electrical/Controls Engineers with any issues
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
2. Electrical Engineering Qualification
3. Knowledge of HMI/PLC Systems
4. Willingness to travel across the UK on occasion
5. Good manner with Clients and Suppliers
