Job Description
Our client is a leading National supplier of industrial products to various industries. Recent investment has been made in new products to support their future growth, which has resulted in a vacancy for an experienced H&S Co-Ordinator.
Role Purpose
To effectively oversee the site's Health & Safety management systems and requirements to ensure its adherence to the companies' H&S standards.
Key Accountabilities
* To assist the GM in complying with Group H&S policies and procedures, developing best practice
* To maintain the internal H&S audit schedule, reporting regularly to the General Manager.
* To attend local H&S & Management meetings
* To complete spot H&S checks and mini-audits regularly throughout the year and report accordingly to the GM
* To assist in H&S events, ensuring that all records are maintained as per the H&S Audit Grid, checking, and updating T100 accordingly
* To advise all nominated representatives of all H&S actions due at the beginning of every month, as per the Audit Grid
* Produce and regularly update local Master Contractors Lists,
* To compile a record of the location of local department H&S documentation, keeping the record up to date by regular auditing
