Your Mission
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will work in our factory supervising the apple processing line, ensuring that their team collaborates efficiently, achieving challenging production targets whilst adhering to food safety and health and safety protocols.
What you will do
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of the apple processing line.
* Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
* Monitor and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Train, mentor, support and motivate production staff to achieve their best performance.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
* Implement and enforce health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate production records and reports.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
What we expect from you
* Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role ideally in a food processing environment.
* Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication and numeracy skills.

* Rate of pay: £15.39 per hour.
* Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime during peak production periods.
