Hours: Fixed Term Position: 23 Months. Daily hours are 8.00-16.30, Monday to Friday

Your Role:
1. Capture and edit film footage to create memorable and informative products to support the British Army in their training requirements.
2. Assist the Film Unit Supervisor and the specialist team within the studio in the development, creation and delivery of innovative training projects to support the customer base.
3. Project manage a series of tasks to ensure effective delivery of training support material within the project’s deadline.
4. Liaise with internal and external agencies to ensure the delivery of the product is compliant and appropriate, ensuring all outputs are compliant with brand identity for the British Army & ADSL whilst being in line with the ethos, values and standards of the organisation.
5. Stay up to date with understanding and working knowledge of media production.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualifications: Foundation degree or equivalent in Video or Film based qualification.
2. Experience: Ability to work independently and troubleshoot to solve problems. Experience in creating video or film products demonstrating a variety of technical skills. Prove this ability using an electronic portfolio or showreel at interview. (NB: An online showreel must be submitted with application).
3. Skills: To be able to capture film footage and audio using a variety of industry standard equipment, and edit using industry standard software including Adobe CS. Further experience of using Adobe After Effects including using light for the creation of motion graphics, visual and emotive effects. Experience of recording and editing audio demonstrating a high level of technical and creative ability.
4. Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
