About the Business Our client is a well-respected law firm with multiple offices across the UK. They are committed to delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining a strong emphasis on collaboration, compliance, and efficiency. The Leicester office plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's broader operations, and they are now looking for an Office Manager to ensure the seamless functioning of facilities, health & safety, and administrative operations. The Role As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the office by managing health & safety, administrative processes, financial oversight, and facilities management. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to maintain a safe, well-organised, and compliant workplace. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth running and adherence to compliance standards. Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to implement policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance. Manage budgets related to office facilities, working in collaboration with the Head of Facilities. Serve as the primary contact for office-related queries and issues, escalating matters as needed. Ensure statutory compliance within all areas of office operations. Develop and implement office processes and procedures to maintain high service levels. Monitor and manage supplier contracts and procurement processes. Maintain relationships with property management agents and oversee office space optimisation. Support disaster planning and security measures for the office. Prepare and deliver monthly reports to senior management on office operations. What We’re Looking For: Experience in office management, facilities, or business administration within a professional services setting. Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and compliance. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate office support teams. Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers. Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems. A flexible, proactive, and problem-solving approach.
