We are currently looking to recruit 2 Site Facilities Engagement Managers on a permanent basis.
The post holders will be responsible for managing and performance monitoring of Soft Facilities Management (via SLA’s with neighbouring Trusts, PFI partners and private contractors) to ensure high quality services are being provided.
The Site Facilities Engagement Managers will carry out a wide range of audits including waste, catering, cleaning, environmental and hygiene across a range of sites to include inpatient, community, and corporate environments. They will provide assurance that national and local standards are in place and maintained as well as ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. As part of this role, the Site Facilities Engagement Managers will be based at a hospital site location within the Trust’s organisation to be agreed upon appointment and will be willing to travel around the vast geography of the organisation.

Main duties of the job
The Site Facilities Engagement Managers' primary role is to manage, monitor, review and support the Estates & Facilities team to provide operational services including Estates, Domestic, Catering, Laundry, Waste Management, Workforce & Logistics, and Security Management via a range of providers including SLA’s, contracts and PFI Partners.
To support the provision of an efficient and effective Estates & Facilities service to all service users, staff and visitors throughout the Trust.
The post holder will be intrinsic in supporting localities on a day to day basis for Estates & Facilities services and visiting wards daily.

Qualifications
* Degree in Facilities management related qualification or equivalent work experience
* IOSH Health and Safety qualification or equivalent experience
* Relevant professional or managerial qualification
Knowledge
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of National Healthcare Cleaning Standards
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of National Catering Standards
* Good understanding of relevant legislation i.e. CoSHH, health & safety, catering, waste management and statutory compliance
