Electrical Craft Team Member
Location: Hartlepool (TS25)Salary: £42,238 basic (Inclusive of shift allowance) rising to £46,395 upon demonstration of site-specific competencies + quarterly bonusContract Length: PermanentShift Patterns: 12-hour Days and Nights (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)Closing Date: Sunday 23rd February 2025Interviews: w/c 3rd March 2025

We have a permanent Electrical Craft Team Member role available within Tata Steel Tubes. This role is ideal for someone with electrical maintenance skills and is hands-on, technical, and fast-paced.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance.
* Maintain Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensuring safe working procedures are followed.
* Provide first-line technical expertise and knowledge to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime.
* Suggest and implement improvements to process control systems in collaboration with relevant peers.
* Ensure high-quality work, repairing deficiencies expediently to prevent recurrence.
Essential Requirements:
* Completed an electrical apprenticeship or possess a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar).
* Problem-solving approach to work.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable Requirements:
* Experience in heavy engineering manufacturing.
* Industrial/domestic wiring knowledge.
* Experience with:
o Overhead Cranes & associated safety systems.
o PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley including HMIs).
o AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems.
o Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters.
o Interpretation of electrical drawings.
o Awareness of safety-related control systems.
