Regional Student Volunteering Lead - West region
Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills.
St John Ambulance is the charity that steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and support communities. Each year, across the country, our Student Volunteering programme sees thousands of university students learn essential first aid skills, many hundreds of volunteering opportunities in a wide range of roles, and a full calendar of fundraising, development and social activities.
The Student Volunteering Team is looking to appoint a Regional Student Volunteering Lead to oversee and advise on Student Volunteering activity in the region. This voluntary role will work closely with regional and national colleagues to support and raise the profile of Student Volunteering. They will also line manage a small team of Regional Student Volunteering Officers and District Student Volunteering Leads.
Experience and interest in both the university volunteering environment is important for this role. While this opportunity is specifically focused on the region, it can be successfully performed remotely so we would welcome applicants from any area of the country.
If you have any further questions about this role, please contact Student-Volunteering@sja.org.uk
Closing date for this post is Saturday 2nd March 2024.
