An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to apply for a position as a full-time Administrator/Clinic Coordinator at Birmingham Chest Clinic. Good communication skills and team working are an important part of this post. We require someone who is hardworking, methodical, approachable, and friendly and will work alongside an already established team.
This is an evolving role and ad-hoc duties will be required.
This post is 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
To provide administrative support in scheduling patients' appointments for clinics as set by the trust and the clinical specialty, identifying capacity shortfalls. Work with colleagues, other service users, and stakeholders to provide an efficient clerical support service and ensure that this is patient-focused, and patients receive a compassionate and professional service. Deal with telephone calls in a professional manner and action queries promptly.
The successful applicant will have a good level of education and be able to demonstrate excellent motivational, organisational, and communication skills, while having the ability to stay focused in a busy environment. You will also have good keyboard skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C)
* RSA level II or equivalent experience.
* Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in a clerical environment.
Experience
* Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience.
* Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Experience of working in a busy environment.
* Experience of working in healthcare.
