We're looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join our Construction team based in London. Location : London Contract : Permanent – Full Time (Can offer Part Time Working also) Responsibilities As the Senior Environmental Advisor, you'll be working in the Construction Environment Team, within the London hub. The role focusses on supporting the planning and delivery of environmental sustainability risk management for projects and facilitating the implementation of the Kier Group Sustainability framework, including: Input into pre-qualification responses and provide tender support for bids Review pre-construction information to evaluate environmental sustainability risks and opportunities. Work with pre-construction and project team to deliver sustainable outcomes and manage environmental risk. Identify and work with competent consultants/service providers of environmental sustainability services to preconstruction and operational teams Identify and support project team with obtaining authorisations / permits / licences / consents and engage with relevant Regulatory bodies especially CAR Regulations. Support the successful delivery of BREEAM, DREAM & CEEQUAL projects. Who are we looking for? You'll require demonstrable experience working as an Environmental Advisor or similar role and a degree within an Environmental sustainability discipline is preferred. You'll have previous experience of providing project environmental sustainability support, including compliance management and ideally will have worked to deliver sustainability schemes such as BREEAM/DREAM/CEEQUAL. Ideally you'll be an IEMA Practitioner or hold a relevant level of membership from a professional body.
