We are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active and dedicated person to join us as our attendance officer. Working closely with our pastoral team, this is a key role and you will be responsible for monitoring and improving student attendance, ensuring that all students have the best opportunity to succeed.

Essential qualities for all applicants include amongst other things:
* Exceptional communication skills; being able to communicate effectively with children/young people, parents visitors and school staff, both verbally and in writing.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Have excellent IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and our school data system SIMS.
* Support the reception team in aspects of the day-to-day running of a faced paced environment.
* Willingness to undertake additional duties and first aid training
Salary: NJC scale 2.4 - £24404 (pro rata)
Hours of work: Week 1 - Monday/Tuesday 08:00 - 16:00 (45 minute break)
Week 2 - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 08:00 - 16:00 (45 minute break)
Inset days when required for staff training.
Start date: As soon as possible once appropriate safer recruitment checks have been complete.
