We are on the lookout for proactive and adaptable Manufacturing Engineers who will play a pivotal role in leading projects focussed on process improvement, new equipment integration, facility enhancements, and safety initiatives. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for; Project Leadership: Take the lead in driving projects related to process enhancement, new equipment acquisition, facility upgrades, and safety improvements. This includes developing robust business cases, meticulous financial budgeting, resource management, and ensuring project timelines are met with excellence. Market Research: Keep a pulse on the latest developments in equipment, systems, and innovations within the industry for potential investment opportunities. Your ability to observe, research, and present findings concisely will be instrumental in our decision-making process. Stakeholder Collaboration: Challenge assumptions when stakeholders request elements beyond the project's core requirements. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will help maintain project focus and efficiency. Lean Manufacturing Advocate: Cultivate a culture of Lean Manufacturing within our production teams and throughout the organization. Guide teams through process changes and oversee the seamless deployment of new systems on-site. Coaching and Mentoring: Provide valuable coaching, training, and mentorship to production teams on Lean methodology, structured daily management, and KPIs. Ensure that improvement actions are implemented promptly when needed. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have; The ability to build a strong network across the business and understand different needs The ability to identify and resolve problems using structured lean problem solving techniques such as 5 Why’s, 3C’s, 8D, A3 depending on level of complexity. Strong background in manufacturing engineering. Demonstrated change management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities, consistently achieving results.
