Brinsworth Academy is seeking to appoint a talented and experienced teacher to lead and inspire our Business and ICT department as Head of Faculty.
You will play a key role in monitoring, managing, and developing the quality of teaching and learning within the department, ensuring alignment with whole-school priorities. You will oversee the deployment of resources, including staffing and will lead on strategic planning within Business and ICT, focusing on curriculum design, assessment, and student achievement.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of excellence in the classroom and a history of achieving outstanding results. They will be a committed and motivated leader, eager to contribute positively to our hardworking and supportive team while embracing the academy’s ethos and vision. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to raising aspirations and achievement and is willing to invest in their ongoing professional development to become, or continue to be, an outstanding practitioner.

Brinsworth Academy is a 2022 Ofsted "Good" 11-18 academy, situated near Rotherham in South Yorkshire. There are 1,435 students on the academy roll, including over 200 students in the sixth form.
