The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in the smooth and efficient functioning of the supply chain operations. This position is responsible for managing vital systems data, overseeing the replenishment orders into the warehouse, and ensuring effective communication with suppliers and various internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proactive investigation of processes, issues, and discrepancies. Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitor stock levels and place orders in line with company guidelines.
2. Manage the purchase ordering process.
3. Maintain the critical path, highlighting potential issues or delays.
4. Liaise with suppliers to ensure the correct stock is shipped in a timely fashion.
5. Ensure timely delivery of samples when required.
6. Accurately update weekly reports with delivery and shipping details.
7. Work with suppliers to plan intake and mitigate out-of-stock periods.
8. Update internal systems to inform all relevant departments of stock and order status.
9. Maintain and report on matrices for each order/container.
10. Produce regular business reports.
11. Analyze various supply chain-related issues to identify cost savings and operational efficiencies.
12. Report any shortages, damages, or stock-related issues in a timely manner.
