Continuous Improvement Lead – Above Ground Triage, Planning & Scheduling
Salary & Benefits:

Location: Bradford/Hybrid Working - a mix of working from home and in the office, when you need to be there for meetings or collaborative working. This is typically 3 x days per week working in the office in Bradford.
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Lead to join the Central Control team at Yorkshire Water.

Where you fit in:
As our Continuous Improvement Lead, you will identify, own, and exploit Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities within Central Control. You will support the embedding of maintenance and operational processes and technology with a focus on fostering a proactive maintenance culture.
You will lead CI initiatives to design, communicate, and embed sustainable improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with Triage, Planning & Scheduling Manager to establish a CI Framework within Central Control.
* Apply a data-driven approach to identify innovative ways of working.
* Lead CI initiatives to realise benefits using CI methodology.
* Facilitate process improvement workshops and forums.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
* Experience in delivering and embedding change.
* Experience in Triage, Planning, and scheduling of above ground assets.
* Able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Able to present data and articulate business cases clearly.
* Coaching skills adaptable to different abilities and learning styles.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
* Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
