The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
* Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' specific needs.
* Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Monitor and document students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Support students' social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and skill-building activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective support strategies.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their social, emotional, and mental health.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of learners.
* Creativity and adaptability to design and implement effective support strategies.
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
* A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
