* Stakeholder interface and management across all technical and commercial matters,
* The Management and support of project teams, including coordinating planning and tender (including preparing schedule and scope of works).
* Provide technical leadership for hydrological studies including Flood Risk Management, EIAs, Reservoir engineering, Low Flow, and Water Resources studies.
* Continuously develop Subject Matter Expertise in the application of UK Flood hydrologic analysis in line with escribed within Flood Estimation Handbook.
* Proactively contribute to the ongoing development of a supportive team environment, taking an active role in the mentoring and professional development of colleagues.
* Checking and reviewing calculations and technical deliverables
* writing and reviewing technical reports
* Resource Management
* Leading the growth of the hydrology team.
* Support business development through inputs into project tenders including developing price and scope of services for hydrological aspects.
About you - We would be delighted to hear from chartered level candidates who have a blend of the following
* Experience in Water Resource Studies
* Experience in the use of R\RStudio and Python for data analysis and visualisation.
* A sound knowledge of hydraulic analysis of culverts/bridges using CIRIA methods.
* Knowledge of hydrometry.
* Strong hydrology software skills such as Qube, LowFlows 2.
* A track record in developing (or a desire to develop your skills in) the professional development of peers and colleagues.
