Responsibilities:
* Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or mental health issues
* Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
* Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents or concerns
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and social workers to ensure holistic care
Minimum Requirements:
* Valid DBS check
* Previous experience in a similar support worker role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
* Proven experience working with vulnerable individuals
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Ability to provide emotional support and empathy
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
* First Aid certification
Work Conditions:
* Part-Time hours with flexibility required
* May involve some evening and weekend shifts
* Work primarily in residential or community settings
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviours and emotional situations
