Fabrication workshop manager- Container Maintenance
Salary: £41,000.00 per annum, with an annual performance bonus (17.5%) plus Veolia benefits and pension
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours
Location: Westminster

What you'll be doing;
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Container Maintenance operation which may include bin repairs, welding, and cleaning.
* Liaise with the client regularly to maintain the relationship and to meet their needs and expectations including ordering and delivery of new bins and other equipment
* Monitor performance against service level agreements and take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance.
* Manage staff resources, including scheduling, training, and personnel management.
* Ensure proper maintenance and deployment of equipment resources
* Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Responsible for the environment, health and safety and all relevant risk assessments, along with all employee relation issues.
What we're looking for;
* Previous experience or knowledge in a welding/ fabrication background
* Understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment
* Previous management experience within a similar role is required.
* Ability to build strong relationships and deal effectively with people at different levels.
* Strong people management skills to lead and support the team.
* Analytical and numerate with a good financial understanding.
* Report writing, communication and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of Transport compliance is beneficial
