As the Team Leader you will be responsible for the direct supervision of operatives, ensuring that they are fully supported, have the correct materials and equipment to complete planned maintenance works safely, but also to have the ability to identify and complete other repairs if required. In addition, you will regularly assess the skills of each operative and provide coaching and training to up-skill where possible. Your key areas of responsibility will be - 1. To deploy operatives to specific contracts to ensure the necessary staffing levels and skill mix to meet the needs of the contracts; redirecting labour. 2. Monitoring progress and taking prompt action to respond to changing circumstances such as re-evaluating workloads in order to keep to schedules and address problems. 3. Providing advice to operatives and customers in connection with the modifications to the dwellings and subsequent usage. 4. Working with colleagues and customers to establish strong and effective communication systems to ensure that all key interested parties are kept informed of progress. 5. Ensuring all operatives are familiar with Health & Safety issues. 6. Maintaining and improving the service delivered by monitoring satisfaction, dissatisfaction levels and taking prompt, effective action to resolve problems or recommend company based changes. 7. Ensuring all works have a complete audit trail and supply the office with completed paperwork. 8. Participating in the setting, monitoring and review of business plans and key performance indicators for Aster Property and the teams work.,

Do you have experience as a leader looking working with trade teams? If so please keep reading., You will hold a relevant academic qualification and extensive relevant experience. Alongside a proven track record of managing a large team.
You'll be able to build strong working relationships and will understand and anticipate the needs of customers. You won't be phased by changing priorities and work demands. You'll identify where improvements can be made and will take action. You will have a natural coaching style to support the development of the team. Travel throughout the region will be required, so you'll need a full UK manual driving licence. A vehicle will be provided.
