Teaching Assistant - Middlesbrough
£80 - £90 per day | Full-Time | Immediate Start | Until July 2025
We need enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development while gaining valuable experience in a rewarding educational setting.
Role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Delivering targeted intervention sessions to enhance pupil understanding and progress.
- Collaborating with class teachers and colleagues to adapt support based on individual learning needs and styles.
- Assisting across the school, including during break and lunchtimes, as required.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children in UK schools.
- A qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare (desirable).
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A resilient, proactive, and positive approach to supporting learning.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
